What decides fit is the suspension and the ceiling condition: a canopy for a flat drywall ceiling, a slope adapter for a vaulted ceiling, a swivel for a sloped canopy, or a multi-point canopy for a cluster. Stem length and overall drop are usually field-adjustable, but the maximum drop has to reach the ceiling height on the drawing. Where a pendant is specified over a work surface, output and glare control matter as much as shape.
This group includes cylinder pendants, globe and sphere forms, linear cable-suspended fixtures, drum and shade pendants, and architectural pendants in single and multi-light configurations.
